WHY ALLIANCE42

Because the industry has failed you.

Consulting hours on top of the license. Surprise invoices. Vendors who treat you as a case number. We started Alliance42 because we were tired of watching it happen - and convinced it can be done better.

THE PROBLEM

What we see in the industry

Too many vendors, too little accountability

Companies end up with 8-15 security products without unified oversight. Nobody owns the full picture. When something happens, everyone points at each other.

Compliance without evidence

Most companies have policies in a drawer that have never been tested. When audit comes knocking, a panic project starts. Evidence should be a byproduct of daily operations - not an annual firefighting exercise.

Incident response that starts from zero

No runbook. No contact chain. No exercise. When an incident hits, most companies start from a blank page - under maximum pressure.

EU rhetoric without EU substance

When a vendor says 'data hosted in Europe' but is still subject to the Cloud Act or other third-country rules, that's not European sovereignty. That's marketing.

WHAT WE BUILT INSTEAD

The Alliance42 model

01

One license. One price. One owner.

Everything is included in your fixed monthly price. No surprise invoices for extra hours, no scope creep, no hidden add-ons. We own accountability for the entire delivery.

02

Evidence as standard output

Policies, runbooks, risk assessments, quarterly reviews, and test results are fixed deliverables - not something you have to ask for. Your evidence pack is built as part of daily operations.

03

EU-first. Transparent about every choice.

Every component in our stack is either open source or from a company headquartered in the EU. Where a vendor has partial dependencies outside the EU, we are transparent about it. We evaluate our full stack using the EU First Index sovereignty scoring framework. You can verify our choices yourself.

OUR IDEOLOGY

Premium service should not cost a fortune

The old assumption

One of the assumptions the industry has sold for 20 years is that really good security either requires an internal team of 5-8 specialists, or enterprise prices from a large vendor with salespeople who call every three months. That premium means expensive. That you either pay in time or in money.

What it actually costs you

Every hour your IT manager spends comparing backup solutions, evaluating password managers, assessing phishing training platforms, or reviewing risk assessments - that is an hour not spent on the strategic development of your business. Multiply that by 7-10 different security domains, and you probably have a part-time position discussing point solutions instead of thinking in wholes.

That is the most expensive form of cheap there is.

A different premise

We believe the opposite. That the smartest way to handle deep specialist disciplines like cybersecurity and NIS2 compliance is to outsource them entirely - not because it is cheaper (although it often is), but because it frees your organization to focus on what it is actually meant to be good at. Alliance42 is built on that premise: bundle it all together, deliver it as one service, take the deep specialist knowledge out of your daily work - so your organization can focus on strategy instead of debating individual solutions.

OUR OBSERVATION

Why the industry runs in circles

The chain that optimizes for itself

The IT industry runs on a loop. Software vendors build partnerships with distributors, who build partnerships with IT partners, who recommend what gives them the best margins and the least internal disruption. Nobody in that chain is evil - they're just optimizing for their own business. But the result is that the client's actual needs come second.

Half-truths and path dependence

When a vendor says 'your data is in Europe' but is still subject to foreign government data requests, that's not a lie - it's a carefully constructed half-truth. When an IT partner recommends the same stack they've sold for ten years, it's not malice - it's path dependence. And when an IT manager doesn't push for change, it's not laziness - it's rational self-preservation in a system that punishes initiative.

We stepped outside the loop

Alliance42 steps outside that loop. We chose our stack based on one filter: what's best for the client's security, sovereignty, and long-term independence. No vendor kickbacks. No exclusive partnerships coloring our advice.

OUR TECHNOLOGY PRINCIPLES

Open source or EU-first. Transparent about every choice.

Every component in our stack is either open source or from a company headquartered in the EU, with data hosted in the EU. We evaluate every vendor using the EU First Index sovereignty scoring framework. You can verify our choices at eufirstindex.eu.

Never more than 42 clients

Alliance42 will never have more than 42 clients on the A42-CC license. It's written into your contract as a promise. Because premium service requires focus. And focus requires a limit.

If the limit ever needs to change, it can only happen by vote among all existing A42-CC clients - with a documented plan for investment in staff, infrastructure, and SLA guarantees, so no existing client ever experiences diminished service.

OUR VISION

The future is partnership - not vendor relationships

In a world where AI makes knowledge cheaper, it's the quality of the relationship and the delivery that creates value. We don't believe in transactional vendor relationships. We believe in partnerships where we grow together, help each other, and share the knowledge that makes us all stronger.

That's why Alliance42 is building a community for our clients and partners. A space where the topics are network, cybersecurity, and digital sovereignty. Where we share frameworks, guides, and experiences. And where we define together what it means to run a business in Europe with control over your own infrastructure.

Success for us isn't revenue per client. Success is when our clients have less stress, lower costs, and more focus on what they do best.

Tobias Lauge Jensen

I started Alliance42 because I was tired of watching companies drown in vendor chaos and compliance panic. The industry lives on selling tools, not outcomes. I wanted to build something where the client gets one point of accountability, fixed outputs, and a partner who actually takes responsibility, instead of just sending another invoice.
